House!!

We think we have us a house!! By think I mean that we have won the bidding process and we have put down earnest $$ but we have to do all of the other things .... like a) inspection! The house is in the perfect neighborhood, great schools, not too far into the suburbs, and it has great square footage - but it is in foreclosure and has not been lived in for a "while" - who knows how long that is ... so we shall see!! Keep your fingers crossed!! We should know something soon and by soon I mean this week as the inspection is Thursday - yeah!!

House was built in 1980 so it is typical on the inside of that time period, so we will be doing some work before we move in - new floors, painting, new kitchen, bathrooms, etc. but since it is in foreclosure we got a great deal on it!!

The coolest thing, in my opinion is this:

a very rough picture of a VERY LARGE - aka 1100 sq. ft. raw basement!! How cool is that!! It is just framed and it has a cement floor, but otherwise it is ours to do with as we see fit, and that is AWESOME!! So the main part of the house will be totally livable and the basement will be "free" to play in. Kids, start your tricycles!! No, we will finish it out, but in our own way, not someone else's ideas, kind of like getting to build a house, but not having ALL of that headache!!

Anywho, that is all in our world, we hope to go to the park this afternoon, so maybe some picture time!!
