Trailer Trash

It's almost official, we must move from our house in the suburbs to a trailer on Fulton Industrial Blvd. (equivalent to Harry Hines in Dallas, TX). Why you ask? That's a bit of a tale....

While unsupervised at the grocery store, Eric bought SPAM. For those of you who knew my mother well, you know she would not approve. Then as if buying Spam was not bad enough, he then had to go off and feed it to our daughter. Then as if feeding her Spam was not bad enough, she had to go off and LIKE IT!! Why is this such a problem, because Ansley doesn't seem to like any meat - at all. But now all of a sudden she will eat meat, or at least a meat bi-product. UGH!!

So why are we moving to a trailer? Because today, for lunch, Ansley had Spam, Cheetos, green olives and milk. I know it does not get any more redneck than that.....PLUS she doesn't even have all of her teeth yet, so she is perfect for a trailer.....I can just see us now, next tornado that comes through town, there we will be with Ansley on the front porch eating Spam saying "I heard a noise, sounded like ......" you have the CNN visual now huh?!?

We just got back from Texas from a quick little visit!

Oh the birthday cake!! These are the shots from Ansley's Texas birthday cake!! So she is not 1 until next week but she needed to eat cake in Texas too!!

So the long story short, she would not eat the cake by hand - she didn't really seem that into it, but when I used a spoon, she was SO EXCITED and she ate her cake.

I have forgotten to post!!

Not much new here, Austin is talking more and more and now has added humor as much as possible; his new word "oh" .... as in "Oh, that sounds like fun mommy I want to come" or "Oh, I didn't know I could do that"

Ansley is fine and has not had any more UTIs, she has a steady diet of cranberries and blueberries and they seem to make her happy & healthy.

Economy is bad but we are good; hope all is well with you all. My "big" computer is broken and so I am using that as my excuse for no pictures....I will get to that soon!!

Ansley & I went to Austin for the weekend for a friend's baby shower......

This is Paul, the proud father-to-be, and Ansley hanging out at Trudy's, a favorite Austin restaurant/bar. Nice coaster Ansley.....

and then not a very good picture of Farya pregnant, but the other picture was WAY worse...so this is the best of 2. She is due in March with a little girl, and she & Paul will be awesome parents. Good luck guys!!

While there we saw other friends & cousins but as usual I forgot to break out the camera - I am way too forgetful!!

Ansley did great on the plane and I REALLY miss Austin....I jokingly want to find a job there; but I love my job here too much.
