Sick of missing Dada

Apparently Austin is missing his father ssooooo much that it made him sick! The daycare called at 3pm today to say that he had a fever of 103.5 so I went to pick him up - he was bright red in the face as you can kinda tell from this picture. By 6 pm it had dropped to 102.8 which is still pretty high. The pediatrician said if his fever is still this high tomorrow afternoon that we should go in to see her. Just means that Momma gets a day off!!

When we came "home" tonight, we took a bath and ate a little dinner - I thought it would be good to put a little food on his tummy - he thought it would be good to put the food back on his momma's lap - eewww - any who, he fell asleep at about 6:45 pm, so we will probably have a long, long, long night tonight. Hope everyone else is feeling much better than us. You have to admit that a baby sleeping with his derriere in the air is pretty darn cute!
